Thank you Nate Piekos of Blambot! for providing me with the means to take my comic to the next level with quality digital lettering.

I never thought I'd do it, as I'm a die hard traditionalist, but it looks awesome.

Let me know what you think of the new lettering.

Thanks for reading!

New lettering looks cleaner and neater. But I'm a fan of both really. :)

Gary, you have good clean, writing. I am a fan of what you were doing before. The digital lettering looks good, but lacks the "life" of you, the artist, in it. Some people can't even draw stick figures. Use what talents you have. You don't need to compensate for anything with a computer font.

With a name like Bigus Dickus, how could I not heed your words.

Thanks for the advice, I do agree with you.

I guess, my biggest issue over the lettering is the fluidity of it. I've been drawing the strips approx. twice the size you see them, on greeting card stock paper. Which affects the space for words as well as the smoothness of the marker on the paper. In the future I'll be switching to a smoother bristol, and drawing at a bigger size. I'm sure a lettering guide would help too, as I free hand everything.

I'll stick with the freehand lettering, it's less time consuming and people seem to like it, and I totally agree with the "life" aspect you mentioned.

Annies fault for letting him stay in her house. You should never trust Boozer with your booze stash.
